The Mackintosh House

The interiors of 6 Florentine Terrace, Glasgow – home of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh from 1906 to 1914 – meticulously reassembled within the University’s Hunterian Art Gallery.

The Mackintosh House Introduction Gallery tells the fascinating story of the artists, their house and the Mackintosh collection.

The Hunterian Art Gallery is located on Hillhead Street beside the University Library, a five-minute walk from the Hunterian Museum.
