Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

The Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Glasgow Style gallery is divided into six stories. It is the largest display in the city of the Glasgow Style’s wide range of media and techniques: stained glass, works on paper, textiles and embroidery, jewellery, repoussé metalwork,silver, enamelwork, glass, gesso, furniture and interiors.

Opening times
Monday to Thursday and Saturday 10am to 5pm, Friday and Sunday 11am to 5pm.

Closing days
25, 26 & 31 December (pm) & 1 & 2 January.

Travel Information
Five minutes’ walk from Kelvinhall Underground Station. Ten minutes’ walk from Kelvinbridge Underground Station. Subway trains run to Kelvin Hall station, near Kelvingrove, at intervals of four to eight minutes. Operating hours are Monday to Saturday 6.30am to 11.30pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm. Cars can be parked at the following Subway stations before travelling on to Kelvin Hall: Bridge Street, Kelvinbridge, Shields Road and West Street.
