The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society are delighted to continue the expansion of our tour offerings with the ‘Mackintosh Discovered’ walking tour.
Starting on April 17th 2020, tours will run most Fridays (with additional days tbc) and will start at 2pm.
This introductory walk around Glasgow city centre will delve into an era of Mackintosh design, exploring his contemporaries and discovering the architecture that shaped post-Victorian Glasgow.
The 90 minute walk begins just outside Mackintosh at the Willow and will finish at The Lighthouse, covering roughly 1.5km in the city centre. Booking is essential to avoid disappointment as group sizes are capped at 10 persons. Children are welcome but please be advised that the route is structured around busy city centre streets.
This tour is currently only available in English, however please get in touch with enquires about different languages or if you have any other access needs.
Proceeds (minus eventbrite booking fee) go directly to supporting the work of the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society. Tickets are available to purchase from Eventbrite
