Welcome to the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society.

Moonrise Kingdom

Join us for an evening at Mackintosh Queen’s Cross as we bring Camp Ivanhoe to life, celebrating the 5th Anniversary of Wes Anderson’s Academy Award nominated story of eccentric adolescence. Teenagers Sam Shakusky and Suzy Bishop fall in love and run away together. As a violent storm approaches, Suzy’s family and Sam’s Scout troupe frantically try to bring the young lovers home before catastrophe strikes. With a star-studded cast including Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand, Moonrise Kingdom asks the timeless question of whether youthful love can survive against adversity.
