Nowhere is Mackintosh’s outstanding skill as a designer better illustrated than with his interiors. These range, as illustrated, from small, simple domestic spaces such as bedrooms to larger more complex public spaces found in schools and churches. The schemes and designs employed were equally diverse and reflected Mackintosh’s willingness to move with the times and create modern, ambitious interiors.
