Historical interiors

Thankfully, much of Mackintosh’s work as an architect and interior designers remains in situ. However, with temporary exhibition interiors such as those seen in Vienna, Turin and Moscow, and with almost all of the Cranston tea room interiors no longer in their original setting, the availability of this surviving photographic documentation is crucial to the understanding of these often complex spaces.
